Advice from IMAGE Models

Is IMAGE Models Right for me?

Any search for 'london modelling agency' or similar will bring up a very long list of agencies like IMAGE Models. Working your way through the options, and trying to see through the sales pitches can be very tricky especially if you have little to no experience of the modelling industry.

How can I spot a bad agency?

From looking at websites alone this can be quite hard. The easiest way to find other peoples' feedback is to search for reviews. If they are mostly positive, then that agency should be on your 'maybe' list. Conversely, if a lot of news articles and bad stories appear then make a note never to consider them again. Once getting in touch with an agency, try to determine whether they are giving a sales pitch or not. Often, the ones with the best pitches are the ones to avoid! They also commonly charge several thousands of pounds to be on their books, while giving zero guarantee of paid work.

What makes IMAGE stand out?

We don't believe in the pay-to-play mentality that many agencies hold. We do however ask for a small registration fee in most cases to cover our administration costs during the time you are on our books. Once registered, you can apply for as many of the assignments we post online as you like. You can clearly see which ones are suitable for you and take control of what you want to apply for. Many other agencies never even post assignments and keep you in the dark. We are a regulated employment agency, just like a regular job agency, but we only do modelling and talent placements. If you want to find out about our latest jobs, visit the IMAGE Models website. Also you can read some reviews from models after their day(s) photoshoots on the IMAGE Models Reviews blog.
